SPECIAL CHALA MERU CLIMB – 7 DAYS PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival KIA to Moshi - Dinner and overnight at Moshi.
Day 2: After breakfast transfer to Lake Challa at 11AM. This takes 1:20 hr to reach Challa (52kms from Moshi town). Clients shall have lunch boxes at Challa or hot lunch - barbeque dinner. At around 3PM clients shall have a walk to the Challa craters during which time they shall see groups of elephants,monkeys,birds etc. And thereafter shall trek down the Lake Challa which takes 25 minutes. Clients can take some pictures while at the lake. Please note that clients can swin but at their own risk. They shall then go back to the camping area for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: From lake Challa to Momella gate – Mariakamba [2500m]
Day 4: MariaKamba – Saddle Hut [3500m]
Day 5: Saddle Hut – Meru Peak [4656m]
Day 6: Meru Peak – Momella gate [2500m] - Arusha for dinner and overnight
Day 7: Transfer to KIA for departure
