TREKKING

KILIMANJARO WITHOUT A CLIMB

MOSHI / SHIRA PLATEAU / TARANGIRE / NGORONGORO / ARUSHA

Day 1:
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
Depart from your hotel in the morning and proceed to Londorossi gate and thereafter to Shira Plateau [Kilimanjaro] with four wheel drive, where you will camp for dinner and overnight in a fly tent.
The climate at this altitude is conducive to gentle walks through flowering vegetation, past small settlements. Walkers will be entranced by the bird life, with its vivid plumage, which can be seen all around them.
Day 3:
After breakfast, clients head for the rainforest which circles the mountain visitors will find themselves in a world of enchantment and mystery. Monkeys, birds and some animals can occasionally be seen. In its turn the rainforest ensures the fertility of the lush, lower-lying ‘shamba’ country where the Chagga people cultivate their coffee, maize and bananas. A stroll through the plantations will provide a fascinating insight into the lives of the local population.
Clients depart at 11:00 am proceed to Tarangire via Arusha where they have lunch break. Arrive in the evening at Tarangire for dinner and overnight.
Day 4:
After breakfast, game drive view in the morning, return to the lodge for hot lunch and relax. After lunch, afternoon game drive view, in the evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5:
After breakfast, proceed to Ngorongoro for crater game drive view, with picnic lunch break at Ngoitoktok spring; later in the evening ascend to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6:
After breakfast, drive to Arusha, for lunch, dinner and overnight. [Day trip in Arusha can be arranged].
Day7:
After breakfast drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight or for your next destination.
